Soil Preparation for Grass Planting

Mark the area where you will plant seeds at a depth of 20 cm. The most common problems in shaded areas are the presence of more water than the plant needs, which causes moss to form. Excess water will prevent plant roots from developing and breathing and will cause death. Moss formation will also quickly destroy the grass by using the nutrients of the grass. To eliminate these reasons, you can use more sand (3/1) on the base, 300 g of organic fertilizer per m², and Anti-moss Fertilizer to prevent the moss problem.

Smooth the surface on which you will plant with a rake a few more times and crush it preferably with a roller. Thus, you get a uniform and flat surface that will make your work much easier during the maintenance phase later.

Grass Seed Planting

Depending on the weather conditions, sow the seeds between March and October, except for extremely hot and dry periods, using the cross winnowing method as shown in the diagram.
