Fertilizer Type and Fertilization

PURPOSE OF FERTILIZATION
It is to obtain more and better quality products per unit area.
Application Method of Fertilizers
- Knowing the type and amount of fertilizer to be used in the soil is not enough. Increasing the desired benefit from these fertilizers
It must be applied at the appropriate time and in the correct way. Fertilizers are commonly applied in four ways.
- Spreading

- Top or Side Delivery
- Spraying
SPREADING
- In broadcast fertilization, the fertilizer is either sprinkled on the soil surface before planting and then buried in the soil with certain tillage tools and then planted; or the fertilizer sprinkled on the soil surface just before planting is mixed with the soil during the planting process.
- Fertilizers are given by spreading when it is not possible to apply them to the band. However, it is not desired to spread fertilizers that bind in the soil and reduce their usefulness.
DON'T TAPE
- Fertilizer is applied to the band in a line with a seeder or a suitable tool. It is applied slightly below and 3-5 cm next to the seed.
- This process is useful for plants planted in rows.
- According to research conducted in our country and other countries, this method has been proven to be more useful.
- Phosphorus uptake of wheat in fertilizer applied to the band is 47% higher than in broadcasting.
GIVING FROM THE TOP OR THE SIDE
- After the plant germinates, it is applied to the entire field or next to the rows.
- This fertilization, which is done while there are plants in the field, is done by spreading from above or from the side.
SPRAYING
- Applying fertilizers to the leaves by spraying is generally applied to fertilizers that need to be used in small amounts, such as micronutrients, and whose usefulness to plants decreases if applied from the soil.
